What a transformation! The students at Vallejo Mills Elementary School had been playing on an old, out of date playground which was originally built in the 1950's. It was high time the playground was brought up to date. The creative team at Miracle Playsystems designed a shiny new brightly colored playground and the kids couldn’t have been more excited! The playground upgrade was made possible by the school's PTA whose fundraising efforts, with a Color Fun Run at the beginning of the year, raised enough funds to make the upgrade possible. What better way to inspire kids to play outdoors than with a beautiful new playground which incorporates all the colors of the rainbow! The Grand Opening in April 2018 was attended by Vallejo Mill students, Principal Rosalinda Cuebas Carrero, staff, PTA key players and the Mayor of Fremont, Lily Mei.
